At 12:54 p.m. on December 29, Halifax Regional Police responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision at Barrington Street and Prince Street in Halifax. A 23-year-old man was crossing Barrington Street and was struck by a car travelling North on Barrington Street. The pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. The driver, a 30-year-old man, was not injured. Investigators with the Accident Investigation Section, Forensic Identification Section and Patrol are conducting the investigation. It is not known if charges will be laid at this time.
