Police investigate weapons call GO#21-101719

On August 20 at approximately 10 p.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to 60 Alderney Drive, Dartmouth, in response to a group of people fighting in the area.

Several officers attended the area and located an adult man who had been stabbed and needed medical treatment. The man was transported to the hospital with what was later determined to be non-life-threatening injuries. Patrol officers who were on scene took an adult man into custody for aggravated assault.

Investigators with the Integrated General Investigation Section are conducting the investigation. The investigation is in its preliminary stages and is ongoing.
