Police investigate Weapons Call GO#21-49210

On April 26 at approximately 9:45 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a man shot in the 3000 block of Barrington Street, Halifax. Multiple patrol officers responded and located a 35-year-old man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Officers on scene quickly identified a suspect and arrested a 38-year-old man at a nearby residence. Officers have secured the residence while a search warrant is obtained. 

Investigators with the General Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages.
