Police investigate weapons call GO#21-95457

On August 7 at 10:08 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a group of people involved in a physical altercation in the 1100 block of Tower Road, Halifax. Multiple Patrol officers responded locating a man with serious injuries consistent with a stabbing. Minutes later, officers located a second man with minor laceration injuries. Both men were arrested. The man with serious injuries was transported to the hospital. The second man declined medical treatment.   

Police are not looking for any other suspects. Investigators believe the two men are known to one another.  

Officers are currently on scene, including Forensic Identification members. Investigators with the Forensic Identification Section and the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages.
