Police investigate weapons call – shooting GO#20-12433

On January 26 at 11:30 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a man shot at Connaught Avenue/Chisholm Avenue, Halifax. Multiple officers responded to the scene and located a man with life threatening injuries. The investigation is in the early stages and the General Investigations Section and Forensic Identification Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigations Division are conducting the investigation. 

UPDATE: 
The victim, a 32-year-old man, is in serious condition with life threatening injuries. There is no suspect information available at this time.

Traffic Blocked:  All vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Connaught Avenue between Windsor Street and Regent Street will remain closed while the Forensic Identification Section processes the scene.
