Police Investigate Weapons Complaint

On September 11 at approximately 5:55 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to the 200 block of Main Avenue in Halifax for a complaint of a male who was sprayed with a sensory irritant by another male. Witnesses at the scene advised the suspect may of also had a firearm. The suspect fled the scene in a white car. Through preliminary investigation, police checked a residence in the 0-100 block of Rosedale Avenue in Halifax for the suspect, but he was not located there. The investigation is in the initial stages. Members of Patrol and the General Investigation Section are continuing the investigation.
