On April 12 at approximately 8:37 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to reports of an altercation involving several parties including one who was observed with a knife at Farm Assists Medical located at 2320 Gottingen Street, Halifax.
Police believe that an individual entered the location, producing a knife to rob the business and was then subdued by multiple persons already inside. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
A man is in police custody and the investigation is continuing.
Traffic on Gottingen Street was diverted briefly during the initial response to this incident but is flowing normally again.
