Police Investigating Stabbing

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating a stabbing that occurred earlier today in Halifax.

At 12:22 p.m., officers responded to a stabbing in the 5500 block of Buddy Daye Street. Officers located a 36-year-old woman who had been stabbed by a 35-year-old woman known to her. The suspect left the scene prior to police arrival officers are attempting to locate her at this time. The victim was taken to hospital by EHS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
