Police investigating weapons complaint GO#21-77054

Members of the Patrol Division and General Investigation Section, as well as the Forensic Identification Unit are investigating a weapons offence.

As officers arrived, they located a victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The injured victim was transported to hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

At this time, the injuries are not thought to be life threatening in nature.

The matter is in the very early stages of investigation. There is no risk to the public and the matter is contained.
