Since March 2, the Halifax Regional Police Traffic Unit issued 114 tickets in relation to speeding and other motor vehicle-related offences.
Since last Thursday, members of the HRP Traffic Unit issued 114 summary offence tickets: 16 for speeding, 27 for no insurance and 71 for other offences including bald tires, passing school busses with stop lights on, no seatbelt, child not in proper restraint and using a cell phone while driving.
We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe. If you see someone driving dangerously, report it to police by calling 911.
