Halifax Regional Police issued 30 tickets for speeding and other motor vehicle-related offences last Friday.
Members from the HRP Traffic Unit issued 30 summary offence tickets: 21 for speeding and 9 for other offences including no insurance, expired plates, no license and using cell phones while driving.
Officers spent time in the Samuel Walker Drive and Bayers Road areas of Halifax in relation to community concerns.
In a continued effort to address traffic safety issues and educate citizens on the rules of the road, our officers focus on speed enforcement. We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe.
