Yesterday, the Halifax Regional Police Traffic Unit issued 30 tickets for speeding and motor vehicle-related offences.
Members issued 30 summary offence tickets: 11 for speeding, 8 for operating a motor vehicle without valid insurance and 11 for other offences including driving without a valid license or unregistered vehicle.
Officers spent time in the area of Portland Street and Highway 111 monitoring for traffic safety violations.
We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe. If you see someone driving dangerously, report it to police by calling 911.
