Police have charged two men in relation to a robbery and break and enter in Halifax last night.
At approximately 12:05 a.m. police responded to a robbery that had just occurred at Alexandra’s Pizza at 378 Herring Cove Road. A man entered the business, demanded cash, threatened the staff and fled on foot with another man who was waiting outside.
Patrol officers and a K9 team tracked the suspects to a nearby residence. The suspects had broken into the basement of the residence and were arrested without further incident.
A 33-year-old-man is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court at a later date to face one count each of robbery and unlawfully in a dwelling house.
A 30-year-old-man is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court at a later date to face one count each of robbery and trespass by night.
