Police are requesting vehicle owners to remove their vehicles from the roadways, so, they do not impede the ongoing snow removal efforts. With additional snow forecasted, Halifax Regional Municipality crews are working tirelessly to clear roadways.
Police are reminding vehicle owners that any vehicles found blocking snow removal can be issued parking tickets under section 139 of the Motor Vehicle Act at any time of day. Also, the overnight parking ban will be remaining in effect for Halifax Regional Municipality on Feb. 4, 2024.
