On January 29, at 9:31 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery call in the 6000 block of Bayers Road, Halifax. A man went inside a business and told the attendant that this is a robbery and that he has a weapon. The suspect then made off with a sum of cash. The man was located a short distance away and taken into custody without incident. The suspect will appear in Halifax Provincial Court to face Robbery charges. The attendant was not injured.
