Police respond to vehicle fire GO# 20-45277

On April 13 at 3:30 a.m., Halifax Regional Police and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Services responded to a report of a vehicle fire on the grounds of Dartmouth High School located at 95 Victoria Road, Dartmouth. When police and fire arrived, the vehicle was fully engulfed, and it appeared to have collided with the school. After the extinguishing the fire, the examination of the vehicle suggested the fire was deliberately set. Officers also discovered what is believed to be bullet holes in the engine bonnet of the vehicle. There was minimal damage to the school because of the incident. The vehicle was discovered to have been stolen over night when police contacted with the owner.
