Police seeking information in relation to suspicious circumstances

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to suspicious circumstances that occurred yesterday.

At approximately 2:10 p.m. the occupants of a vehicle travelling northbound on Highway 102 reported that they had just observed a man being assaulted by another man near a vehicle parked on the side of road between the Kearney Lake Road and Larry Uteck exits. Both men and the vehicle were gone when officers arrived on scene.

The victim is described as a white man with short brown hair and wearing dark clothing. The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s-40s, very tall with a thin build and a shaved head and wearing dark clothing. The vehicle is described as a black sedan.

Given the time and location of the incident, investigators believe there may be other people who witnessed the incident. Anyone with information about the incident or video from the area at the time of the incident is asked to call police at 902-490-5020.
