The Halifax Regional Municipality invites residents to participate in a survey to help shape the future of shared micromobility transportation options in Halifax.
Shared micromobility is an umbrella term for services that provide public access to personal vehicles for transportation purposes, such as bike and e-scooter share systems.
This project is the result of a 2019 motion from the Transportation Standing Committee as well as Action 88 of the Integrated Mobility Plan which directs municipal staff to conduct a bike share feasibility study.
The findings of this survey, which is open until Dec. 22, will inform a staff report to Transportation Standing Committee in spring 2020.

La Municipalité régionale d'Halifax invite les résidents à participer à un sondage pour aider à façonner l'avenir des options de transport de micromobilité partagée à Halifax.
La micromobilité partagée est un terme générique désignant les services qui fournissent un accès public aux véhicules personnels à des fins de transport, comme les systèmes de vélos et de scooters électriques partagés.
Ce projet est le résultat d'une motion de 2019 du Comité permanent des transports ainsi que de l'action 88 du Plan de mobilité intégrée qui demande au personnel municipal de mener une étude de faisabilité sur le vélo en libre-service.
Les résultats de ce sondage, qui est ouvert jusqu'au 22 décembre, alimenteront un rapport du personnel au Comité permanent des transports au printemps 2020.
