Location: Upper Water Street between Casino Nova Scotia and the Marriott Halifax Harbourfront Hotel
Dates: Wednesday, Sept. 25 to Thursday, Sept. 26; Friday, Sept. 27 to Monday, Sept. 30
Times: 7 p.m. on Wednesday to 7 a.m. on Thursday; 7 p.m. on Friday to midnight on Monday
Work details: This work is required to facilitate the installation of the new water service to the Casino and to complete the installation of the storm sewer through the intersection of the future Cogswell and Upper Water streets.
Traffic impact: Motorists will be detoured via Duke and Cogswell streets. Local access to Purdy’s Lane and the Casino parkade will be maintained via Lower Water Street. Access to the Casino only will be maintained via the Barrington Street and Upper Water Street intersection.
Transit impact: Transit routes that travel along Upper Water Street will be detoured via Cogswell Street. There will be no impact to bus stops.
Pedestrian and cyclist impact: Pedestrians and cyclists will be directed along the boardwalk around the Casino and Purdy’s Towers.

Dates : Du mercredi 25 septembre au jeudi 26 septembre ; du vendredi 27 septembre au lundi 30 septembre
Heures : Du 19 h le mercredi au 07 h jeudi ; de 19 h le vendredi à minuit le lundi
Détails des travaux : Ce travail est nécessaire pour faciliter l’installation du nouveau service d’eau au Casino et pour terminer l’installation de l’égout pluvial à l’intersection de la future rue Cogswell et de la rue Upper Water.
Impact sur la circulation : Les automobilistes seront déviés par la rue Duke et la rue Cogswell. L’accès local à la voie Purdy et au parc de stationnement du Casino sera maintenu via la rue Lower Water. L’accès au Casino ne sera maintenu qu’à partir de l’intersection de Barrington et de la rue Upper Water.
Impact sur le transport en commun : Les itinéraires de transport en commun qui empruntent la rue Upper Water seront déviés par la rue Cogswell. Il n’y aura aucun impact sur les arrêts d’autobus.
Impact sur les piétons et les cyclistes : Les piétons et les cyclistes seront dirigés le long de la promenade autour du Casino et des tours Purdy.
