UPDATE ~ 29-year-old Shawn William Lethbridge of Dartmouth was arrested yesterday, without incident, in Halifax for the robbery. Lethbridge is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face one count of robbery.

At 10:40 p.m. on February 21, Halifax Regional Police officers responded to a hold-up alarm in the 400 block of the Herring Cove Road in Halifax. While responding to the alarm, it was learned that a robbery had taken place. A lone male had entered the business and demanded money but no money was obtained. The male then fled the area on foot. The suspect was described as a white male, blonde hair, approx. 5'9" tall and he was wearing a grey hoodie at the time of the incident. The matter is currently being investigated by members of the General Investigation Section.
