At approximately 10:37 p.m. on June 12, police responded to a business located in the 300 block of Windmill Road in Dartmouth to the report of an attempted robbery. A female employee was locking up the business when she was approached by two males, one of whom was brandishing a firearm. The female was assaulted by the suspects who then fled from the area when the female cried out for help. The female was transported to the QEII where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. One suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’ tall, who was wearing a plastic mask, black pants and a black hoodie at the time of the incident. The second suspect is described as a white male, 6' tall, who was wearing a black hoodie at the time of the incident.
The investigation is in the early stages and the matter is being investigated by members of the General Investigation Section.
