On September 14 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to the Superstore Smoke Shop, 6141 Young Street, Halifax, for a robbery. A lone man entered the store and demanded money from the till and a pack of cigarettes. Described to police as a white man, approximately 50-years-old, wrinkled complexion, 5'10 tall, medium build, black jacket and a piece of medical tape on his cheek. No weapon was observed, but the suspect was digging in his pockets. There were no injuries. The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
