The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists the following sidewalk closures will begin today and last until mid-November, to facilitate upgrades to street lighting:
- Sackville Street sidewalks between Market and Argyle streets.
- Market Street sidewalks between Sackville and Prince streets.
- Prince Street sidewalks between Market and Grafton streets.
Crews will be on site each day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Some weekend work is expected.
A marked detour will be in place and pedestrian access will be maintained.
The municipality appreciates the patience of residents and motorists while this work is completed.
