Stabbing and traffic stop GO#20-82382

On July 19 at 1:28 p.m., Halifax Regional Police received a report that a 34-year-old man who had been stabbed showed up at the QEII Health Sciences Centre Emergency Department. Investigators determined that he had been stabbed while in the area of the 5400 block of Inglis St, Halifax.

At 4 p.m., Halifax Regional Police members conducted a high-risk traffic stop with a vehicle believed to be involved in the area of Joseph Howe Drive and Bayers Road, Halifax. Four people were taken into custody and the incident is currently being investigated by members from the General Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section.
