Residents are invited to attend and participate in a town hall meeting with the Advisory Committee for Accessibility in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
When: Tuesday, Sept. 25 | 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Where: Gymnasium, Dartmouth North Community Centre | 105 Highfield Park Drive, Dartmouth
The meeting will discuss and gather input on current projects relating to:
- Corporate facility design and construction
- Parks and recreation
- Traffic and transportation
- Winter operations
- Accessible transit
- Municipal compliance
- 311 contact centres
- Diversity and inclusion
- Youth engagement
Sighted guides, ASL interpretation, and CART service will be provided.
Note: The meeting will end promptly at 8:30 p.m. to meet Access-A-Bus bookings. If any speakers do not have an opportunity to speak by the end of the meeting, a comment form can be left and staff will get back to you.

Quand : le mardi 25 septembre | de 18 h 30 à 20 h 30
Lieu : Gymnase du centre communautaire de Dartmouth North | 105, promenade Highfield Park, Dartmouth
Au cours de la réunion, on discutera et on recueillera des commentaires sur des projets en cours liés à ce qui suit :

• Les parcs et loisirs
• La circulation et le transport
• Les opérations hivernales
• Le transport en commun accessible
• La conformité municipale
• Les centres de contact 311
• La diversité et l’inclusion
• Des guides voyants pour la mobilisation des jeunes
Des services d’interprétation du langage ASL et un service de communication par transcription simultanée seront offerts.
