With the warm weather this weekend, police responded to numerous parking complaints on Sambro Creek Road leading into Crystal Crescent Beach. Vehicles were parked up and down both sides, not leaving sufficient space for vehicles to turn around or leave room for emergency vehicles to pass through.
Police had to shut down the road temporarily and place a barricade to get some of the traffic congestion cleared.
We appreciate the public’s patience with this traffic disruption and remind people to park in a location that does not block a roadway from allowing emergency vehicles or other traffic to pass.
