Investigation uncovers evidence that shots were fired
Investigators have located evidence at the scene that shots were fired in the 2500 block of Brunswick Street in Halifax yesterday evening. There have been no reports of injuries and there is no evidence to suggest that anyone was injured as a result of the incident. The investigation is in the very early stages and no suspects have been identified at this time.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the suspect(s) to call police at 902-490-5016. Police on scene at possible weapons call.
Halifax Regional Police is currently on scene at a possible weapons call in the 2500 block of Brunswick St in Halifax.
At approximately 5:55 p.m., police received several reports of shots fired in the area of Brunswick St and North St.
A number of officers are currently on scene, several people were seen fleeing the area, there are no known injuries at this time. The investigation is in its preliminary stages and further information will be released when available.
