On December 24, Halifax Regional Police responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision in Halifax.
At 8:30 p.m., police responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred at the intersection of the Bedford Highway and Flamingo Drive. A car travelling northbound on the Bedford Highway turning left onto Flamingo Drive struck a pedestrian who was walking northbound on the Bedford Highway across the intersection in a crosswalk. The 32-year-old female pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The matter remains under investigation at this time to determine if a Summary Offence Ticket will be issued.
