At approximately 7:50 p.m. on May 28, Halifax Regional Police responded to a vehicle and pedestrian collision at Lancaster Drive and Micmac Blvd and Woodland Avenue in Dartmouth. A 46-year-old woman from Halifax was crossing Micmac Blvd and was struck by a vehicle turning left from Micmac Blvd onto Woodland Avenue. There are no injuries. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital as a precaution. The driver, a 21-year-old woman from Dartmouth, was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
