On September 12 at 4:00 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons complaint in the 5000 block of Livingstone Place, Halifax. A caller who was walking on Livingstone Place observed what appeared to be people with a handgun inside a window.
Patrol officers quickly secured the residence and arrested five youth, one woman and one man without incident. Officers located and seized two pellet guns from the residence. Investigators conducted interviews with all involved and determined no criminal offence was committed. No one was injured and no charges are pending. All five youth and two adults have been released without charges.
