At approximately 9:45 p.m. on January 2, Halifax Regional Police officers responded to the 100 block of Best Street in Dartmouth to the report of an altercation involving two men at this location. One of the men was reported to be in possession of a machete. Members responded and arrested a 35-year-old man who will be attending court today charged with multiple weapons offences, property damage and threats. The men are known to each other and there were no significant injuries during this incident.
