At 10:53 p.m. on April 28, Halifax Regional Police responded to the intersection of Albro Lake Road and Pincrest Drive in Dartmouth to a report of a male pointing a Tazer.
Upon police arrival a suspect was identified and taken into custody at 11 p.m. without incident. There were no victims or injuries as a result of this incident. A stun gun was located on the male and seized by police.
A 19-year-old man is facing the following charges: Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a prohibited weapon in an unauthorized place.He was later released on a promise to appear in court at a later date and to follow conditions of an undertaking.
