ENCorrection: The December vehicle/pedestrian collision statistics released on January 23, 2019 did not include the motor vehicle/pedestrian fatality that occurred on December 14, 2018. There were four pedestrians fatally injured and not three. The report has been corrected.

ENAt 12:20 a.m. on January 24, Halifax Regional Police responded to a physical altercation with one male injured by a hatchet in an apartment, in the 2300 block of Gottingen Street in Halifax. Patrol officers located a 36-year-old man from Halifax, with non-life-threatening injuries, in one apartment.
