ENAt approximately 1:30 a.m. on January 14, East patrol members observed a speeding SUV travelling eastbound on Highway 111 between Exits 6 and 7. The vehicle was driving dangerously and estimated to be travelling in excess of 150 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

ENAt 4:40 a.m. on January 13, Halifax Regional Police received a report of a motor vehicle collision where a car struck a tree and fire hydrant in the 6100 block of North Street in Halifax. At 4:50 a.m. Halifax Regional Police located the suspected vehicle in the parking lot of McDonalds on Kempt Road.
