At 9:55 p.m. on April 19, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision with a suspected impaired driver in the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Robie Street, Halifax. The 40-year-old male driver from Tantallon will be charged with impaired driving offences and attend court in Halifax at a later date.

Members of the Sexual Assault Investigative Team of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division have charged a Dartmouth man in relation to sexual assault that occurred just over 17 years ago.
