    At approximately 8:50 pm, Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons complaint at an address in the 600 block of Washmill Lake Drive in Halifax. Officers located  a deceased male upon arrival in the hallway of a building.

    The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that winter conditions are present across the region, with reduced visibility and drifting snow. Snow clearing operations continue to be active in all areas, with a focus on priority routes. Residents are encouraged to remain off roads, if possible, to allow equipment to maneuver safely and efficiently.

    Please be advised that the municipal overnight winter parking ban will be enforced overnight from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. to allow crews to properly clear the streets and sidewalks.

    On February 6, 2021 at approximately 11:50 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of possible gun shots in the area of Albert Street and Acadian Street in Halifax.

    At 4:10 p.m., 6 February, Halifax Regional Police responded to multiple reports of a red Mazda sedan travelling south-bound on the wrong side of the 111 Highway near exit 7 (Portland Street) in Dartmouth. A few minutes later callers reported the red Mazda sedan hit head-on with a blue Hyundai sedan.
