The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction on St. Margaret’s Bay Road between Quarry Road and Douglas Drive has been extended until the end of October.

Update: Suspicious fires in Dartmouth. The fire the occurred on Montebello Drive has been investigated by Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency and HRP and has been determined to be not suspicious. The General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division is still investigating the fire on Pinecrest Drive.

At 11:09 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, Halifax Regional Police responded to the intersection of Almon and Gottingen Streets in Halifax for reports of a vehicle that had gone through the intersection at a high rate of speed and hit a fence, going airborne and then flipping and landing on the Stadacona Base property.
