Halifax Regional Police have charged a woman with driving in excess of 50 km/h over the posted speed limit today in Dartmouth.

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that road construction will take place on Robie Street, between Almon and North streets, from Monday, September 14 to Wednesday, September 16. This work will require the traffic signals to be shut down at the intersection of Almon and Robie streets on Monday, September 14, and at the intersection of North and Robie streets on Tuesday, September 15.

On September 13 at 6:17 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to an apartment in the 1000 block of South Park Street Halifax for a report of a Break & Enter in-progress.

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that the blue-green algae risk advisory previously in effect for Lake Micmac in Dartmouth has been lifted. The off-leash dog area of Shubie Park has also reopened for use.
