ENOn July 19 at 4:51 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Atlantic Wholesale Cash and Carry, located 7111 Chebucto Road, Halifax. A staff member was assaulted as they attempted to stop two men who had just stolen a grocery cart filled with energy drinks and chocolate bars.

ENOn July 19 at 1:28 p.m., Halifax Regional Police received a report that a 34-year-old man who had been stabbed showed up at the QEII Health Sciences Centre Emergency Department. Investigators determined that he had been stabbed while in the area of the 5400 block of Inglis St, Halifax.

EN FROn Tuesday, August 4 the customer service centres at Alderney Gate and Bayers Road will be reopening with regular hours to the public. Due to the impacts of COVID-19, all customer service centres were closed to the public since March.

EN FRThe Halifax Regional Municipality continues to monitor and respond to the rapidly evolving effects of COVID-19. As part of the Halifax Mobility Response Plan, Bedford Row, between the Founders Square parking garage and Prince Street, will be temporarily closed to all vehicle traffic to allow for additional patio space. This change will be implemented on Friday, July 17 and will be in place until the end of September.
