The Halifax Regional Municipality continues to monitor and respond to the rapidly evolving effects of COVID-19.

At approximately 1:45 p.m. police responded to a report of a workplace injury at a residence on Titus Street in Halifax. A 57-year-old man fell from the second story of the residence. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Department of Labour has been notified and is investigating the incident.

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents to expect delays on Jubilee Road, between Cambridge Street and Oxford Street from May 11 until May 13. Sackville Trenching will be carrying out natural gas installation and permanent asphalt concrete restoration on behalf of Heritage Gas.
