Wayne Derrick Bassett, 61, of Dartmouth was held to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face charges of uttering threats (x4), assault (x4) and assaulting a police officer in relation to an incident where a man who had threatened a group of other men saying he would stab them with a knife, near the 1400 Block of Lower Water Street, Halifax.
