The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will begin tomorrow and last until Thursday on Jubilee Road between Bloomingdale Terrace and Pryor Street and on Pryor Street between Jubilee Road and Armview Avenue.

At approximately 6:31 p.m. on November 1, Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at Personal Tailoring, 6251 Quinpool Road in Halifax. A man entered the business, he had a knife and demanded cash from the employee who was working. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money; there were no injuries.

At 7:36 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, Halifax Regional Police responded to reports of five vehicles backed up on to Monaghan Drive in Halifax with a group of protesters protesting in close proximity. The situation was impacting two-way traffic and, more seriously, could have resulted in an injury to a member of the public as it posed a serious public safety threat.
