    UPDATE: All traffic is merging from the 111 Highway and Woodland Avenue onto the 118 Highway outbound is now open. Outbound traffic is still reduced to one lane while the vehicles are towed from the scene. Police have confirmed one adult male, operating a van sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is being transported to the hospital.

    At 7:43 p.m. on October 16, police responded to a report of a robbery at Shoppers Drug Mart located at 3430 Joseph Howe Drive in Halifax. Police were in the area immediately after the incident and arrested an adult male matching the description given by Shoppers Drug Mart staff.
