ENHalifax Regional Police officers are investigating a report of a shots fired on August 17. At 8:55 p.m. a report was received of a shooting that took place in the area of the 3400 block of Barrington Street, downtown Halifax. The investigation is currently ongoing. Members have been able to confirm that shots were fired, however, nobody was injured. It is not believed that the shooting was a random act.
