ENAt 4:20 a.m. on August 13, officers responded to the 0-100 block of Highfield Park Drive in Dartmouth for a report of a physical disturbance. The investigation led officers to an apartment in the same block where a 52-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were arrested without incident.

ENHalifax Regional Police are investigating multiple related incidents including a stolen motor vehicle, two break and enters and numerous thefts from motor vehicles that occurred this morning in Dartmouth.

ENEarly in the morning on August 12, Halifax Regional Police (HRP) received a report from a citizen regarding a theft involving an HRP officer in Halifax. After conducting a preliminary investigation, a male HRP officer was arrested. The matter has been referred to the Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT) for further investigation.

ENOn August 11, 2018 at approximately 11:30 p.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to the 1100 block of Old Sambro Road, Harrietsfield to assist with traffic while Halifax Regional Fire Service responded to a structure fire. The commercial building was not occupied at the time and no one was injured. There was significant damage to the building as a result of the fire.

ENHalifax Regional Police approached a man who was panhandling in the area of Bayers Road and Connaught Avenue in Halifax at approximately 5:50 p.m. on August 11. The man was wanted on an outstanding warrant and fled on foot from police into a restaurant in the 6500 block of Bayers Road.
