    At 8:15 p.m. on March 25, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a home invasion that had taken place in the area of the 5200 block of Kent Street in Halifax. Members of the Forensic Identification Section conducted an examination of the scene and the matter is currently being investigated by the General Investigation Section.

    At approximately 11:30 p.m. on March 24, Halifax Regional Police responded to an apartment in the 1900 block of Brunswick Street in Halifax to the report of a female with a knife threatening other occupants of the building. A 61-year-old woman will be making a court appearance on Monday in Halifax Provincial Court to face numerous weapons related charges.

    At approximately 1:15 p.m. on March 24, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a male that was located and believed to be deceased in a wooded area behind the 3600 block of Joseph Howe Drive in Halifax. The investigation led officers to believe that the death was not suspicious in nature.

    At approximately 7:50 p.m. on March 23, Halifax Regional Police arrested a 34-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman during a traffic stop in the 100 block of Lahey Road in Dartmouth. A search of the vehicle turned up a loaded firearm. The man and woman are facing numerous weapons related charges and are being held in custody.
