    The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that MacDonald Street will be closed today between Chebucto Road and Patricia Street.

    At approximately 10:19 p.m. on June 11, police responded to a weapons call in the area of Maple Street and Ford Street in Bedford.  A man wielding a hammer and wearing a mask was reported to be in the street in this area. Officers arrived and located the 27-year-old man who was taken into police custody and will be making a morning court appearance in Halifax Court. He was charged with several weapons related offences, as well as breach of court conditions.

    At approximately 10:02 p.m. on June 11, police responded to the 200 block of Lacewood Drive in Halifax to the report of a male at that location who had been stabbed. Members attended and located a 22-year-old man suffering from multiple injuries, which were not life-threatening. The incident is reported to have happened elsewhere and at this time the details are limited.
