The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will take place this evening on Prince Street between Lower Water and Brunswick streets and on Carmichael Street between Argyle and Brunswick streets.

Police have charged a man and a woman in relation to a disturbance where two others were sprayed with a sensory irritant early this morning in Halifax.

On September 11 at 12:46 a.m. a woman was walking in the area of Wyse Road and Albro Lake Road in Dartmouth. The woman encountered a male and was assaulted and robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash. A male youth was arrested in the area and will be appearing in court to face a charge of robbery.

On September 10 at 9:22 p.m., Halifax Regional Police received a call about a vehicle that was on the golf course at Brightwood Golf Course. A 30-year-old man will be attending court at a later date to face an impaired driving charge, driving with a blood alcohol over the legal limit and property damage.
