    On December 27, police received a report that on December 26 at approximately 10 p.m. a cab driver drove a female passenger to a residence in Dartmouth and sexually and physically assaulted her. The woman sustained non-life threatening facial injuries.

    At 1:37 a.m. this morning, Halifax Regional Police and Cole Harbour RCMP responded to a possible break and enter into a residence at Cranberry Crest/Mount Edward Road in Dartmouth.

    At 7:30 p.m. on December 27, the Integrated Emergency Service (IES) Centre received a call from a male who advised he was going to harm someone with a knife and wanted to let the police know.  Multiple Halifax Regional Police units searched for the male in the Halifax area.

    At 12:36 a.m. on December 25, officers responded to the Dartmouth General Hospital in relation to an adult man who had arrived to the hospital suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds.

    At 8:50 p.m. on December 24, officers responded to the area of 7000 Mumford Road in response to a robbery that had just occurred. A 67-year-old man was robbed by a female youth and three adult males.

    At 9:14 p.m. on December 24, officers responded to a break and enter at Elite Vapour, 1139 Bedford Highway. The owner of the business called police to attend after he located a large rock thrown through the glass front door. A large amount of vape juice, cigars and cash were stolen during the break and enter.

    Update:  Halifax Regional Police have made an arrest and laid charges in relation to two recent incidents of cash registers being stolen from Halifax convenience stores.
