Halifax Regional Police responded to a suspicious circumstance that occurred at approx. 1:10 p.m. today.  A 13-year-old girl walking her dog was approached by a male in a vehicle at the corner of Novalea Dr and Sebastian Place.

During the month of September, there were 18 vehicle/pedestrian collisions in Halifax. Month over month, this represents an increase of six from the 12 incidents reported in August 2017. Year over year, the number of incidents remained unchanged; there were 18 incidents reported in September 2016.
